GOA was founded in 1976 by the late Sen. H.L. (Bill) Richardson. The GOA Board of Directors brings over 100 years of combined knowledge and experience on guns, legislation and politics. GOA’s Board is not satisfied with the “status quo.” Americans have lost some of our precious gun rights and we want them back! This is why GOA is considered the “no compromise” gun lobby.
From state legislatures and city councils to the United States Congress and the White House, GOA represents the views of more than two million gun owners whenever their rights are threatened.
SECOND AMENDMENT FOUNDATION
The Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) is dedicated to promoting a better understanding about our Constitutional heritage to privately own and possess firearms.
To that end, we carry on many educational and legal action programs designed to better inform the public about the gun control debate.
FIREARMS POLICY COALITION
Firearms Policy Coalition (firearmspolicy.org) is a 501(c)4 nonprofit organization founded on a philosophy of natural rights, with an unambiguous Purpose, consistent Values, and clear Mission to fight for the People, liberty, and freedom. FPC’s efforts are focused on the Right to Keep and Bear Arms and adjacent issues including freedom of speech, due process, unlawful searches and seizures, separation of powers, asset forfeitures, privacy, encryption, and limited government.
COLORADO STATE SHOOTING ASSOCIATION
The Colorado State Shooting Association (CSSA) is the official NRA state association for Colorado — an independent organization dedicated to protecting gun rights, sanctioning NRA and CMP firearms matches, and supporting all shooting sports statewide. As Colorado's chief pro-gun lobbying force, CSSA has been instrumental in defeating anti-gun legislation and passing landmark laws including shall-issue concealed carry and statewide firearms preemption. Your support of CSSA directly funds state-level advocacy, shooting sports programs, and the fight to preserve Colorado's First Freedom.
