What does 100% of profits mean?

Our “100% of Profits to Defending the 2nd” commitment is the founding value upon which Defender Coffee is built. It’s what motivates us and it’s the primary reason we created Defender Coffee. We are proud of this commitment and want to be clear about what we mean when we say “100% of Profits to Defending the 2nd.”

Like all businesses, there are normal business expenses required to operate Defender Coffee, such as employee compensation and benefits, travel, cost of goods, transportation, warehousing, marketing and advertising, supplies, occupancy costs, taxes, etc.

In the simplest terms, when we say 100% of profits, we mean what’s left over (aka surplus, balance, difference) after normal business expenses are deducted from all the income we derive from sales from our coffee business. That income comes from two sources, direct sales of our products and profit from dealers we license to sell our products.

How can I be sure money is being donated?

We're glad you asked. First, we really appreciate your patriotism and commitment to defending the Second Amendment. You can directly reach out to any of our charity partners for verification of our donations.

Why isn’t the NRA on the list of Gun Rights Groups?

The National Rifle Association has endorsed both bump stock bans and red flag laws. Not only has the NRA recently endorsed some anti-gun legislation, the NRA is the reason why we have some long standing anti-gun laws such as the NFA. Many of their members and leaders in the organization are staunchly pro 2nd Amendment – people like Colion Noir are excellent allies to the 2nd Amendment. But until there are some changes within the National Rifle Association, Defender Coffee cannot endorse people joining or donating to the NRA.
