Francis Marion, better known as the Swamp Fox, was a military officer who served in the American Revolutionary War. A persistent adversary of the British, Marion used irregular methods of warfare and is considered one of the fathers of modern guerrilla warfare. Swamp Fox Roast is our tribute to his patriotism and bravery. This organic dark roast is bold and spicy with tasting notes of coriander and dark chocolate.

Origin: Honduras.

Elevation: 1300-1800 meters high.

Bean Type: Typica.

Process: Fully Washed.

Roast: Dark.

Returns:
Coffee purchases are non-refundable. However, if your coffee package arrives damaged or you have concerns about its safety, you may return it for an exchange of the same roast or a roast of equal or lesser value. Apparel and gear can be returned within 30 days of purchase for in-store credit, a refund, or a replacement. For further assistance, please contact us at info@defendercoffee.com.

Now my favorite coffee

I really like the 1776 dark roast but decided to give all Defender Coffee dark roasts a thorough test. My whole family participated and we ran through an extensive taste test.. the winner and our new favorite is clearly Swamp Fox roast. Why? It is full flavored, smooth, and without any acidic notes (no hints of citrus, lemon, etc.). Great coffee and I will keep it stock in my house.
